My Moms Cinnamon Rolls


1 Tbs. Yeast
2 Tbs. Warm Water
½ C. Sugar
3 C. Flour
½ tsp. Salt
3 C. Buttermilk (room temp.)

Dissolve yeast and sugar in warm water.  Combine remaining ingredients, cover, and let rise one hour.

Add:
½ C. Melted Butter
3 Beaten Eggs
1 tsp. Salt
1 tsp. Baking Soda
3 ½ C. Flour

- Let rise one more hour.
-Punch down and refrigerate 8+ hours.
- Roll dough out.  Cover with melted butter.
- Sprinkle with brown sugar, cinnamon, raisins and nuts. 
-Roll into a log.  Use dental floss to slice into rolls.
- Place on cookie sheet and allow to rise until double. (I usually let rise over night and bake fresh in the morning)
 - Bake at 400 for 10-15 min.
