1 C. Warm Water
¼ C. Sugar
3 Tb. Milk
1 Egg, beaten
2 tsp. Salt
4 ½ C. Flour
¼ C. Butter
Cilantro
Green Onion or onion

Dissolve yeast in warm water.

Stir in sugar, milk, egg, salt and enough flour to make a soft dough.

Place dough in a well oiled bowl and cover with damp cloth, let rise one hour.

Punch down and knead in cilantro and green onion.

Pinch into golf ball size and allow to rise 30 minutes.

Preheat cast iron to medium-hi heat.

Roll out dough and put in a catch iron pan over med-hi heat. Sprinkle with water and cover with lid. Cook for 2-3 minutes.
- Remove lid, turn and cook on other side without lid for 2-3 minutes
* This is one of my families favorites. We cannot eat our indian food without this bread!
