Onion Kulcha (Indian flat bread - naan)

1 pckg. Yeast
1 C. Warm Water
¼ C. Sugar
3 Tb. Milk
1 Egg, beaten
2 tsp. Salt
4 ½ C. Flour
¼ C. Butter
Cilantro
Green Onion or onion

- Dissolve yeast in warm water.

- Stir in sugar, milk, egg, salt and enough flour to make a soft dough.

- Place dough in a well oiled bowl and cover with damp cloth, let rise one hour.

- Punch down and knead in cilantro and green onion. 

- Pinch into golf ball size and allow to rise 30 minutes.

- Preheat cast iron to medium-hi heat.

- Roll out dough and put in a catch iron pan over med-hi heat.  Sprinkle with water and cover with lid.  Cook for 2-3 minutes.

- Remove lid, turn and cook on other side without lid for 2-3 minutes

* This is one of my families favorites.  We cannot eat our indian food without this bread!
