Pita Bread

1 pckg. Yeast
1 Tb. Sugar
2 C. Warm Water
6 C. Flour
1 Tb. Garlic Salt

- Dissolve yeast and sugar in water and let stand until bubbly, about 5 minutes.
Add salt and 3 cups flour, miss well and add remaining flour 1 cup at a time.
- Dived dough into 8 balls, roll into 12” circles, let rest for 5 minutes on a baking sheet so you do not have to move them.
Bake at 500 for 3-4 minutes until just browned.
- Middle will form a bubble so when bread is cut in half you will get two pockets.  The pockets work out best if you do not handle the dough too much.
- Cool under a towel.
